Data Collection If I am honest, I am not completely sure that I will use data surveys in the classes that I teach. Although, I do want to teach AP Literature and Language at the 11th and 12th-grade levels. I do believe that if I were to use a data survey it would be in regard to my classroom management style or keeping tabs on where the students are. For instance, I would design a data collection survey that allows the students to respond freely and anonymously about what they think the class does well and where it can be strengthened. I guess I could also have them due a literature data collection themselves, such as a project designed to see what the average person reads. But, I do believe that if I were to use data collection it would be to gauge how the students feel that the class is structured.
